It proves that Mother India has given birth to certain officers who not only fight for the nation when in service but after retirement also. I do recollect when you have published in the Paper STAR OF MYSORE, with not only Gen's courage but the respect to the brothers and sisters of you ,the child of our Mother , the BHARAT MATHA to hoist the fundamental principles of or constitution envisaged " Todays corrupted advocates are tomorrows corrupted judjes. What a wonderfull sentence backed by patriotism. Since During the break of my service as JCO and an Officer, I was thinking negetievly of your statement since I was practicing as an Advocate. But I feel sorry for my thoughts when I attained the maturity on attaining the age of a senior citizen. Khula, Khustia, Jibannagar are very familiar to me also, and to be your surprice I am the eye witness through the telescope of UX 1145 Russian tank of 45 Cavalry,when an Officer from the pakistan Signals came with open pistol and you were couregious to go,meet and accept the surrender of Pakaistani force in Bangaladesh.Even when I saw you saluting him before confiscating his open pistol I was angry at you for the salute,but latter I understood that the Officer came with open pistol wasa Lt col and obviously you were a major. One more hats of to the British Army who taught us the saltute, respect and discipline.
